The catalog of EFEO Publications includes works on a wide range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences (archaeology, history, anthropology, literature, philology, etc.), centered on Asia, from India to Japan.
These publications address both specialists, and a wider public interested in Asian civilizations and societies.
Michel Wasserman is former director of the Kansai French Cultural Institute and of the Villa Kujoyama, an artists’ residence in Kyoto. He currently teaches at the College of International Relations at Ritsumeikan University (Kyoto). He has written extensively on Paul Claudel’s diplomatic and artistic undertakings during his posting in Japan, including Paul Claudel dans les villes en flammes (Honoré Champion, 2015) and Paul Claudel et l’Indochine (Honoré Champion, 2017).
