About - Eugenio MENEGON

Eugenio Menegon received his training in Chinese language and culture at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in Italy and earned an M.A. in Asian Studies and PhD in History from the University of California at Berkeley. He teaches Chinese and world history in the Department of History at Boston University and is the author of many publications on China-Europe exchanges and missionary history. His current book project is an examination of the daily life and political networking of European residents at the Qing court in Beijing during the 17th–18th centuries.
