About - ŌSHIMA Mikio
Ōshima Mikio 大島幹雄, is the president of the board of the Wakamiyamaru Shipwrecked People’s Association in Ishinomaki. He has written several books on the topic, as well as on the world of circus, the environment in which he worked over decades. He has travelled to Russia regularly for professional reasons, and during his travels became interested in the documents he introduces in this volume.
