Sueki Fumihiko
is Professor at the International Research Center for Japanese Studies. His current research interests center upon the history of Japanese Buddhism as well as Japanese intellectual history and Japanese religious history. Major publications include Kamakura bukkyô tenkairon (Studies on the Development of Kamakura Buddhism) (2007), Nihon shùkyôshi (History of Japanese Religion) (2004), Kamakura bukkyô keiseiron (Studies on the Formation of Kamakura Buddhism) (1998), Nihon bukkyôshi (History of Japanese Buddhism) (1992).
