Lucia Dolce
is Senior Lecturer in Japanese Religions at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, where she also directs the Centre for the Study of Japanese Religions. Her main research interest is the religiosity of the medieval period. She has published on the development of millenarian ideas, the esotericisation of religious practice, kami-Buddhas associations, and on Taimitsu and the Nichiren tradition.
