The catalog of EFEO Publications includes works on a wide range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences (archaeology, history, anthropology, literature, philology, etc.), centered on Asia, from India to Japan.

Yu Xin
is Professor in the Department of History at Fudan University, and is also a researcher at the Center for Research on Ancient Chinese History at Peking University. He is the author of Shendao renxin: Tangsong zhiji Dunhuang minsheng zongjiao shehuishi yanjiu [Way of Gods, Life of Humans: Social History of the Livelihood Religions in Dunhuang during the Tang and Song Dynasties] (Beijing, 2006), and Zhonggu yixiang: xieben shidai de xueshu xinyang he shehui [Mapping the Extraordinary: Knowledge, Faith and Manuscript Culture in Medieval China] (Shanghai, zon). He is currently working on religion and natural history (bowuxue) in medieval China.
