About - MATSUBARA Kentarō
Matsubara Kentarō 松原健太郎 (LLB Tokyo, DPhil Oxford) is professor of law at the University of Tokyo. His works include “East, East, and West: Comparative Law and the Historical Processes of Legal Interaction in China and Japan” (American Journal of Comparative Law, 2018) and Rīgaru radikarizumu: Hō no genkai o kongen kara tou リーガル・ラディカリズム：法の限界を根源から問う [Legal radicalism: Foundational approaches to law and its limits] (co-edited volume, 2023). He has held visiting appointments at Columbia Law School, the University of Hong Kong, the National University of Singapore, and Yale University.
