About - WANG Zhiqiang

Wang Zhiqiang 王志強 is professor of law at Fudan University Law School. His research explores Chinese law and legal history, English and French legal history, Roman law, and comparative law. He is the author of Qingdai guojia fa: Duoyuan chayi yu jiquan tongyi 清代國家法：多元差異與集權統一 [State law of the Qing dynasty: Heterogeneous plurality and power centralization] (2017) and has published widely in Chinese, English, French, and Japanese. From 2017 to 2023, he served as dean of Fudan Law School and has been a member of the board of the International Society for Chinese Law and History since its founding in 2014.
