SHEN Ting 沈庭 is an associate professor at the School of Philosophy and the School of Chinese Classics, Wuhan University, China. His research focuses on Chinese Buddhist thought, particularly modern Chinese Yogācāra philosophy, and the modern Asian Buddhist network, with a special emphasis on the interactions between Chinese and Sri Lankan Buddhism. His recent publications include the articles “The Modern Transformation of Chinese Buddhism’s View of Truth: On Ouyang Jingwu’s View of Thusness” (Zhexue yanjiu 哲學研究, 2020, no. 11), “The Establishment of the World Fellowship of Buddhists and Its Impact on the Alliance of Southern and Northern Buddhism” (Foxue yanjiu 佛學研究, 2023, no. 1), and “On the Round-Trip Interaction Between Eastern Buddhism Thoughts and the Philosophy of Schopenhauer and Nietzsche” (Zhexue yu wenhua 哲學與文化 51 [2024], no. 4). In addition, he co-edited the collected volume The Formation of Chan Buddhism and Its Spread in the World (Beijing: Religious Culture Publishing House, 2021).
