The catalog of EFEO Publications includes works on a wide range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences (archaeology, history, anthropology, literature, philology, etc.), centered on Asia, from India to Japan.
These publications address both specialists, and a wider public interested in Asian civilizations and societies.
Lionel Siame is Senior Lecturer (HDR) at the University of Aix-Marseille and researcher at CEREGE (European Center for Research and Education in Environ-mental Geosciences). CEREGE is a joint research center (UM 34) incorporating Aix-Marseille University (AMU), the CNRS (UMR7330), the IRD (UMR 161), the Collège de France, and INRAE. Trained in neotectonics and structural geology at the University of Paris-Sud (PhD 1998), he specialized in the isotopic techniques using cosmogenic nuclides. From 2003, he devoted himself to the study of the evolution of Taiwanese relief under the effect of tectonics and climate forcings. From 2007 to 2020, he directed three CNRS LIAs (Laboratoire International Associé) in Geosciences between France and Taiwan. From 2012 and 2015, he was Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Earth Sciences, Academia Sinica and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Geosciences, National Central University in Taiwan.
