The catalog of EFEO Publications includes works on a wide range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences (archaeology, history, anthropology, literature, philology, etc.), centered on Asia, from India to Japan.

Catherine LUDVIK
is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Toronto, where she is completing a dissertation on the conceptual and iconographie development of the goddess Benzaiten from her Indian origins to her Japanese metamorphoses. She has also written a book on the Indian monkey god Hanuman, entitled Hanumân in the Râmàyana of Vâlmïki and the Ràmacaritamânasa of Tulasï Dâsa (Delhi: Motilal Banarsidass, 1994).
