The catalog of EFEO Publications includes works on a wide range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences (archaeology, history, anthropology, literature, philology, etc.), centered on Asia, from India to Japan.

Fiorella Allio
received her Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Paris 10 (Nanterre), in 1996. She then spent a year at the Department of Anthropology at Columbia University (New York) for postdoctoral research. Allio taught anthropology at the University of Paris 10 from 1990 to 1994. She now holds a research position at the French National Center for Scientific Research and is a permanent member of the Institute for Research on Southeast Asia in Aix-en-Provence. She has carried out extensive field work in Taiwan since 1985. Her research focuses on folk religion and public rituals as related to social, political, and territorial organization.
