Livia Kohn
Associate professor of Religion at Boston University. She specializes in medieval Taoism and has spent many years doing research in Japan. Her recent works include Early Chinese Mysticism (Princeton, 1992), The Taoist Experience: An Anthology (SUNY, 1993), and Laughing at the Tao: Debates Among Buddhists and Taoists in Medieval China (Princeton, 1995).
