The catalog of EFEO Publications includes works on a wide range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences (archaeology, history, anthropology, literature, philology, etc.), centered on Asia, from India to Japan.
These publications address both specialists, and a wider public interested in Asian civilizations and societies.
Hartley, Lauran
Ph.D. in Tibetan Studies at Indiana University in 2003. She has taught as adjunct lecturer at Columbia University and last year as visiting assistant professor at Indiana University. Among her recent publications are "Ascendancy of the term rtsom-rig in Tibetan literary discourse" in S J. Venturino (éd.), Contemporary Tibetan Literary Studies (Leiden: Brill Academic Publishers, 2005) and review articles in the Journal of Asian Studies and History of Religions. She currently serves as consultant and editor at the Latse Contemporary Tibetan Cultural Library in New York City.
