Lu Pengzhi
is currently Visiting Scholar of the École française d'Extrême-Orient and Associate Professor of Daoism at Sichuan University. His research interests include Heavenly Master Daoism, the ancient Lingbao texts, and the history of Daoist ritual. He is the author of Tangqian daojiaoyishi shigang [A Historical Survey of Pre-Tang Daoist Ritual] (Zhonghua shuju, 2008) and co-editor of Early Chinese Religion, Part Two: The Period of Division (220-589 AD) (Brill, 2010).
