Koike Jun'ichi
is professor at the National Museum of History and Ethnology (Kokuritsu rekishi minzoku hakubutsu-kan). His publications include Denshô saiji-ki [Traditional things seasonal] (Tôkyô, Iizuka shoten, 2006); Onmyôdô no rekishi minzoku-gaku-teki kenkyû [Ethno-historical study of Onmyôdô] (Tôkyô, Kadokawa gakugei shuppan, 2011). His main scientific interests are focused on the history of folkloric beliefs axed on Onmyôdô and Shugendô; on the phase of written culture in folklore; and on the formation of Japanese ethnological studies.
