Nishioka Yoshifumi

is chief curator at the Prefectural Library of Kanagawa-ken Kanazawa bunko. Specialized in the study of Medieval History of Japan. His recent publications include different catalogues of special exhibitions organized at Kanazawa bunko, such as Yomigaeru Kamakura no gakumon [Learning in Kamakura resuscitated], 2006; Onmyôdô kakeru Mikkyô [Onmyôdô combined with Mikkyô], 2007; Gosun shihô no bungaku sekai [World of literature in the format of 5 sun square (documents of sermon)], 2008. He is currently conducting the research of medieval religion and culture mainly through documents preserved in Kanazawa bunko.
